About Our Studio
Wren Tabletop Studio is a small home run business based in the suburbs north of Perth. I love playing all types of boardgames in my free time with family and friends. I got into painting once I got into more Ameritrash games and got a few kickstarters with lots of mini’s. The games had great visuals with colourful boards and card art, but the miniatures were bland with their grey or single colour plastic. When compared with the rest of the game it was a bit of a let down and broke the immersion of the game worlds. So I started painting and after a lot of learning, practice and time we are able to do justice to our favourite games and let the miniature add to the games world.
I use a light primer followed by contrast paints to create a depth of colour in a quicker time then older ways of painting. Using this figures take around 1 hour for smaller characters to 2-3 hours for larger monster figures.
Painting takes a lot of time and patience, so if you would like the benefit of painted mini’s for your favourite games but dont have the time, let me paint for you.
