Wren Tabletop Studio offers miniature painting, specialising in board game figure painting. If you are tired of the single colour plastic miniatures that come standard with tabletop games or have a favourite game that you want to bling out, contact us to paint your game. Below is the process that your miniatures go through when we paint them.

Preparation

When we receive new miniatures we clean them with lightly soapy walm water to remove any dirt and chemicals from the moulding process.

Once they dry the miniatures are ready to be primed with a light colour (grey or off white) plastic safe primmer. They are then left for 24hrs to dry

Painting

Once the miniatures are ready for painting, we use reference images from the game or artist drawings to paint the figures as close to accurate as possible. Note that paint colour differs from print so colours may not be 100% accurate. We can also paint to the customers specifications – so if you want an alternative character colour or have your own ideas just let us know when booking or provide us with images of what you would like.

Finishing

When the miniatures are painted and fully dried we coat them with a varnish to protect them from bumps and hits when playing or storing your game. We use either Matte or Semi-Gloss Varnish.

Once that is dry your miniatures are ready to use and impress your friends with next game day!

The miniatures are painted to table ready spec not display specs.
